Vivo X20 Plus UD is the world’s first smartphone with an In-display fingerprint reader powered by the Synaptics Clear ID FS 9500. As per Synaptics, the Clear ID is highly-secure, twice as fast as 3D facial recognition and also works well with wet, dry and cold fingers. The specifications of the Vivo X20 Plus UD is almost same as the previously launched Vivo X20 Plus, but the physical fingerprint scanner is replaced by the in-display fingerprint reader in the X20 Plus UD. To unlock the phone, you’ll have to press your fingertip on the icon in the lower portion of the display.
This smartphone sports a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with an aspect ratio of 18:9 and has a resolution of 2160×1080 pixels. It is fuelled by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 octa-core processor mated with 4GB of RAM and a non-removable 3905mAh battery. In the camera department, it comes with a dual camera setup that consists of a primary 12MP and a secondary 5MP sensor accompanied by a LED flash. The front camera has a 12 MP sensor with selfie flash. Its a Dual SIM 4G smartphone equipped with a Hybrid SIM tray and supports microSD up to 128GB. Other key features are 128GB internal storage, 5GHz WiFi ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, Android 7.1 Nougat and a micro USB port.
The Vivo X20 Plus UD is offered only in Black color and available to buy in China at 3,598 Yuan (Approx. ₹36,140) starting 1st February 2018.
