Smartron has finally launched it’s much-awaited srt.phone in India starting at ₹ 12,999. It features an All-angle 5.5″ full HD display and protected by Gorilla Glass 3. In terms of design, it has a removable back cover made up of plastic and the fingerprint scanner is mounted at the rear side. The battery is non-removable and the Back cover only provides access for inserting the SIM cards. This phone is available in two storage variants – 32GB and 64GB but lacks an expandable memory slot. It’s Dual SIM 4G device supports VoLTE.
Under the hood is Octa-core Snapdragon 652 paired with Adreno 510 GPU and 4GB of RAM. The camera department has a 13MP rear camera coupled with a LED flash and supports PDAF. At the front, 5MP camera is made up of a wide-angle lens for taking wide selfies. It is backed by a 3000mAh battery supplied with an 18W Adapter and support Quick Charge 2.0 (5V/2A and 9V/2A). Connectivity options include Dual Band WiFi ac, Bluetooth, GPS, FM Radio, USB OTG, and NFC for payments. It runs on Android 7.1 Nougat out of the Box and can be upgraded to Android O in future when the update is available.
srt.phone is offered in Titanium Gray color and Exclusively available via Flipkart starting May 3, 2017. The 32GB variant is priced at ₹ 12,999 and 64GB at ₹ 13,999. Smartron is also offering unlimited tCloud storage for free with this device.
