Just after announcing Galaxy S10 Lite and Note 10 Lite, Samsung Electronics expands its SSD lineup with the launch of Portable SSD T7 Touch at CES 2020. It has a sleek & compact design and supports a read speed of 1,050MB/s and a write speed of 1,000MB/s. One of the key highlights of SSD T7 Touch is the built-in fingerprint reader on top of password protection and AES 256-bit hardware encryption.
It has a solid metal aluminum casing and weighs about 58 grams. To ensure reliable connectivity this drive comes with a USB Type-C-to-C cable, a USB Type-C-to-A cable and is compatible with Windows, Mac, and Android operating systems. Additionally, it also features a Motion LED that notifies the status of SSD.
The Samsung Portable SSD T7 Touch is available in two colors – Black or Silver and offered in 500GB, 1TB, and 2TB sizes. It will be available starting 2nd week of January 2020 over 30 countries worldwide. In the U.S. it is priced at $129.99 for the 500GB, $229.99 for 1TB and $399.99 for the 2TB. It comes with three-year limited warranty.
Samsung Portable SSD T7 Touch Price in India
In India, the Portable SSD T7 Touch is priced at ₹11,999 for 500GB, ₹18,999 for 1TB and ₹36,999 for 2TB variant. It will be available across retail channels, online and offline, from February 2020 in India.
