Samsung Gear Fit2 Pro is the successor of the Gear Fit 2 which was launched last year. It has 1.5″ curved Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 216×432 pixels and runs on the Samsung’s own Tizen operating system. Gear Fit2 Pro is water-resistant up to 5 ATM and comes with the dedicated app named Speedo to track your swimming activity. This fitness tracker tracks your daily activities, sleep, workout, calories consumed and burned. Even, it automatically detects and logs the kind of activity you are doing such as Tennis, Basketball, Dance etc.
It includes a GPS hardware for tracking runs and capable of providing up to 4 days of battery life. Furthermore, it measures your heart rate continuously throughout the day, indicating heart rate zones, to make better fitness decisions. As per Samsung, there are more than 3,000 apps and watch faces including Spotify app in the Galaxy App store.
Samsung Gear Fit2 Pro is offered in two colors – Black & Red and priced at $199.99 (Approx. ₹12,800). Pre-order begins 31st August 2017 and available to buy starting 15th September 2017.
Update Nov 29, 2017: Samsung Gear Fit2 Pro will go on sale in India in December and priced at ₹13,990. You can buy this device from Flipkart in Black and Red colors.
