Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2017) with 8″ Display, 5000mAh Battery Launched

Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2017) is a budget tablet sports an 8″ display with a resolution of 1280×800 pixels and powered by the Quad-core processor mated with 2GB of RAM. It comes with an internal storage of 16GB and that can be further expanded up to 128GB using a microSD card. This tablet also houses a Single SIM tray and supports 4G networks.

For photography, it has an 8MP rear camera with LED flash and 5MP front camera. The rear camera supports different modes such as HDR, Creative Pro mode etc and lets you shoot 1080p videos at 30fps. Samsung has also introduced a new mode called Home Mode that will show useful information such as time, calendars, weather and dates even while the tablet is charging. It comes with a massive 5000mAh battery that can provide up to 14 hours of video playback and runs on Android 7.1 Nougat. Key connectivity options included are 5GHz WiFi, Bluetooth, and GPS with GLONASS.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A is sold in Gold & Black colors and available to buy in Vietnam at VNĐ 6,490,000 (Approx. ₹18,300). There is no information about the availability in India.
