Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite Launched in India at ₹39,999: Specifications, Features, Availability

Update: 23rd Jan 2020 – Along with the Galaxy Note 10 Lite, Samsung also launches Galaxy S10 Lite in India. It will be offered in three colors – Prism White, Prism Black & Prism Blue and priced at ₹39,999. You can pre-book the device from 23rd Jan till 3rd Feb 2020 across Flipkart, Samsung eStore and also through offline retail stores across India. The sale starts on 4th Feb 2020. Update: 22nd Jan 2020 – Two weeks after the global debut, Samsung officially launches Galaxy Note 10 Lite in India. It will be available in Aura Glow, Aura Black and Aura Red color options and priced at ₹38,999 for 6GB/128GB variant and ₹40,999 for 8GB/128GB variant. Pre-booking starts from 21st January 2020 at 2:00 PM and shipping begins on 3rd February. It will be available across major retail stores, online stores, and Samsung eStore. Samsung has also announced an attractive Upgrade Offer of up to ₹5,000 wherein consumers can buy the Galaxy Note10 Lite for an effective price ₹33,999.

Earlier: 4th Jan 2020 – Samsung expands its popular Note and S-series lineup with the launch of Galaxy Note10 Lite and Galaxy S10 Lite ahead of CES 2020. Both of the devices come with a triple rear camera, an In-screen front camera and also an on-screen fingerprint scanner. Both Note 10 Lite and S10 Lite are equipped with a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 2400 × 1080 Pixels and houses a 32MP camera in a display cutout at the top center.

Even though both devices come with triple camera setup on the rear side, Samsung has used different sensors on each. The Galaxy Note 10 Lite includes three 12MP sensors placed in an L-shaped manner on a rectangular module with one wide-angle, one ultra-wide-angle lens and one telephoto lens. The Galaxy S10 Lite has vertically stacked triple camera setup on the rear side that includes primary 48MP primary camera, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle camera and also a 5MP macro camera. The front camera on both devices remains the same i.e. 32MP.

Both devices come with a non-removable 4,500mAh battery with fast-charging support and run on Android 10 with OneUI 2.0 out of the box. In addition, the Galaxy Note10 Lite also comes with Bluetooth S Pen with Air Commands just like regular Galaxy Note 10. In terms of security, both devices come preloaded with Samsung’s ecosystem of apps & services including Bixby, Samsung Pay, Samsung Health and also Samsung Knox.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite is offered three colors – Aura Glow, Aura Red & Aura Black, and the Galaxy S10 Lite come in Prism Blue, Prism White & Prism Black color options. Both will be showcased at CES Las Vegas 2020 from 7th January till 20th January 2010. There is no official announcement from Samsung about the pricing yet.
