After announcing the Galaxy M30 in February 2019, Samsung now expands the M-series smartphone line up with the launch of Galaxy M40 in India. It is also the first smartphone with the In-display camera in the M-series lineup. It comes with a 6.3-inch Full HD+ Infinity-O display and has an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. To provide the more display real estate, the front camera is placed inside the display cutout on the top left Just like Honor 20, Motorola One Vision, etc. In Galaxy M40 the earpiece is replaced by the Screen Sound technology that uses phone’s screen to transmit and emit the sound.
Under the hood is Snapdragon 675 Processor mated with 6GB RAM, 128GB Storage and a 3,400mAh battery that supports 15W fast charging. In the camera department, the Galaxy M40 gets a triple camera sensor that includes a 32MP ƒ/1.7 primary sensor accompanied by a 5MP f/2.2 live-focus sensor and an 8MP sensor with 123° Ultra Wide-angle Lens. The Samsung Galaxy M40 comes in two colors – Midnight Blue and Seawater Blue and available via Amazon.in starting 18th June 2019 at ₹19,990. Samsung has also bundled a 15W power adapter in the box.
