Samsung announces Galaxy J7 Pro and Galaxy J7 Max in India. Both are mid-range devices, comes with a metal unibody design, Full HD display, Fingerprint scanner and Selfie flash. Samsung has also equipped both smartphones with the same camera i.e. a 13MP f/1.7 rear camera with LED flash and 13MP f/1.9 front camera with LED flash. Similar to other J series smartphones, these smartphones also include ‘Make for India’ features such as Ultra data saving, S bike mode, and S power planning. Another important highlight is the Social Camera lets you share images directly to social apps by applying live filters or live stickers. Furthermore, the instant discovery feature allows users to discover their surroundings for popular photography spots, restaurants and shopping areas.
Samsung has also introduced Samsung Pay Mini that comes with Mobile Wallets such a Paytm and UPI integration. It will be will be launched first on Galaxy J7 Max and will be made available on select existing J-series devices in coming weeks. Pay mini doesn’t support Tap and Pay due to lack of NFC and MST technologies. Instead, the user needs to use the Barcode or VPA to send and receive payments. Galaxy J7 Pro supports Samsung Pay that allows users to pay by tapping the phone on the Point of Sale (PoS) machine and also by using a Mobile Wallet or UPI.
Galaxy J7 Pro costs ₹ 20,900 and hit the stores mid-July onwards. Galaxy J7 Max is priced at ₹ 17,900 and will be available across retail stores starting June 20. Both are offered in Black and Gold color options. You will also get ₹ 800 cashback on making transactions through Paytm & UPI via SamsungPay.

The Galaxy J7 Max features a 5.7″ IPS display which is slightly bigger than the display of J7 Pro and powered by the MediaTek Octa-core processor with 4GB of RAM. It also comes with a Smart Glow LED strip around the rear camera.
