Earlier (4th Jan 2018) – Samsung had introduced its 2018 edition of Galaxy A8 and A8+ in December 2017 and now the company is all set to launch the bigger Galaxy A8+ in India. This smartphone is already listed on Amazon India with status as coming soon. Also, there is no official information about the pricing. The Galaxy A8+ sports a 6-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with 18.5:9 aspect ratio and powered by Samsung’s in-house Exynos 7885 Octa-core CPU mated with a non-removable 3500mAh battery that supports fast charging. Its a Dual SIM 4G smartphone houses a dedicated expandable memory slot and supports microSD up to 256GB.
The major highlight of this smartphone is the Dual front camera setup. It includes a primary 16MP and a secondary 8MP sensor that supports Advanced Live Focus feature lets you adjust the bokeh effect before or after taking the picture. The rear camera has a 16MP F/1.7 sensor and supports Video Digital Image Stabilization (VDis) to stabilize the video footage. In terms of design, it has sleek glass and metal frame with 2.5D glass on the front and 3D curved glass on the back. It also supports Samsung’s Gear VR, Dual Messenger, and Samsung Pay. Other key specifications are VoLTE, Fingerprint scanner, Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C port, 5GHz WiFi ac, NFC, MST, and GPS with GLONASS.
