Update: 11th Sep – India Launch – Along with the mid-ranger Galaxy A30s, Samsung also launches Galaxy A50s in India. It comes in two variants – 6GB/128GB and 4/128GB and priced at ₹22,999 and ₹24,999 respectively. It will be offered in three colors – comes in three colors Prism Crush Black, Prism Crush White, and Prism Crush Violet and available to purchase Amazon.in, Samsung e-Shop, Samsung Opera House and also through offline retail stores across India starting 11th September 2019. Earlier – 22nd Aug – Global Launch – Along with the Galaxy A30s, Samsung has also launched Galaxy A50s, an upgraded version of Galaxy A50 which was introduced in India in February 2019. Compared to Galaxy A30s, the Galaxy A50s comes with an upgraded display, and camera. It has a 6.4-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-U display instead of HD+ Infinity-V display on Galaxy A30s and powered by the Octa-core Processor with the same 4,000mAh battery that supports 15W fast charging. It is available in two RAM/Storage configurations – 3GB/64GB and 6GB/128GB.
For photography, the Galaxy A50s gets a Triple camera setup on the rear just like the Galaxy A30s but, with an upgraded primary sensor. The setup includes a 48MP f/1.7 primary sensor, a 5MP depth sensor, and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens. The front camera also has an upgraded 32MP sensor compared to a 16MP sensor on the Galaxy A30s. Other key features are On-screen fingerprint scanner, Samsung Health, AI Game booster, Samsung Pay and Bixby.
The Samsung Galaxy A50s is sold in four colors – Prism Crush Black, Prism Crush White, Prism Crush Violet, & Prism Crush Green and will go sale in select countries starting September 2019.
