Along with the Redmi 7, Xiaomi also announces Redmi Y3, the successor of last years Redmi Y2 at an event held in New Delhi. Its a selfie-focused smartphone comes with a 32MP front-facing camera and supports EIS and also AI Beautify 4.0 & AI Portrait mode. On the rear side, it has a 13MP+2MP dual camera setup placed vertically along with a LED flash and allows you to shoot Full HD videos at 60 frames per second.
Redmi Y3 comes in two configurations – 3GB RAM/32GB Storage and 4GB RAM/64GB Storage with a dedicated MicroSD slot to expand the device storage up to 256GB. It sports a 6.26-inch HD+ display with a dot notch and protected by the Gorilla Glass 5. It gets the power from the Octa-Core Snapdragon 632 SoC and houses 4,000mAh battery.
