Update: Realme C2 has first introduced India in April 2019 with color options – Diamond Black & Diamond Blue. Now, the brand launches the Diamond Ruby and Diamond Sapphire color variant of Realme 2 in India. There are no changes in the technical specifications and also pricing. Both new color variants will be available to buy via Flipkart starting 12th October 2019.
Earlier: 22nd April 2019 – Along with the Realme 3 Pro, Realme also announces its entry-level Realme C2, the successor of last year’s Realme C1 in India. It comes with a 6.1-inch HD+ Dewdrop display and powered by the MediaTek Helio P22 octa-core processor with a 4,000mAh battery. It supports Dual SIM and also equipped with a dedicated microSD slot. The Realme C2 comes on two configurations – 2GB/16GB and 3GB/32GB.
For photography, the Realme has the same 13+2MP Dual camera setup on the rear which is present on the Realme C1 and also 5MP selfie camera. It also supports various AI features like AI beauty selfie, AR stickers, Bokeh mode, AI face unlock, etc. It runs on Android Oreo-based ColorOS 5.1 and also supports Dual VoLTE to make HD voice calls using both SIM slots. Compared to Realme C1, the C2 also has an improved Diamond-back design with nanoscale composite particles for a premium look.
The Realme C2 is available in two colors – Diamond Black & Diamond Blue and available to buy via Flipkart starting 15th May 2019 at 12 noon. The 2GB/16GB variant is priced at ₹5,999 and the 3GB/32GB at ₹7,999. It will also be made available in the Realme offline stores in the coming days.
