Poco F1 was the first introduced in India in August 2018 but, received a lot of complaints from users due to Lack of Widewine L1 Support. The Widewine L1 Certification is required to Stream HD content on Netflix and Amazon Prime Video. Now, after waiting for a long time, Xiaomi has finally started rolling out an update that brings the much-awaited Widewine L1 support on Poco F1. This news is confirmed by C.Manmohan, General Manager, POCO India on Twitter.
As of now, the OTA update numbered 9.2.25 rolling out to Beta users and it’ll be made available to everyone in the upcoming stable build. If you are a beta user, wait for the update to arrive as it rolling out in batches. A few days back, Xiaomi had also confirmed that the POCO F1 has been tested across various safety, reliability and environmental standards by TÜV Rheinland, one of the global leaders in testing and certifications.
