OPPO Reno and OPPO Reno 10X Zoom were first introduced in China in April 2019 and later made their way into India on 29 May 2019. Now, OPPO is all set to expand the Reno lineup by introducing the OPPO Reno 2 Series in India. Also, the OPPO Reno 2 Series is first launching in India and expanding to other countries later. According to an official post on social media, OPPO Reno 2 Series is launching in India on 28th August at an event scheduled in New Delhi.
As per the teaser, the upcoming smartphone series comes with vertically-stacked 48MP Quad camera setup on the rear and supports 20X digital zoom along with a 5x Hybrid Zoom. Seems like OPPO hasn’t made any changes to the front camera mechanism. Just like the previous generation, the upcoming Reno 2 series is also equipped with the same Shark Fin Rising camera at the top to provide a more screen-to-body ratio.
According to the listing on the OPPO’s official website, OPPO Reno 2 series also comes with 3D Audio Zoom and Image Fusion technology. The 3D Audio Zoom technology captures a natural sound for an immersive audio experience and allows users to pinpoint & amplify sound to correspond to the zoomed video. Furthermore, is also supports Ultra Steady Video mode to record shake-free videos. Check out the video below.
