Update: (5th December 2019) – OPPO A9 2020 was first introduced in September 2019 with two colors to choose from – Space Purple & Marine Green. Now, the brand has launched the Vanilla Mint variant of OPPO A9 2020 in India. The 4GB/128GB variant is priced at ₹15,990 and the 8GB/128GB variant ₹18,490. Both variants will be available via Amazon.in starting 5th December 2019.
Earlier: 10th September 2019 – The Oppo A9 2020 is the successor of last years’ OPPO A9 (2018) in India with an improved camera and a big battery. It’s a mid-range smartphone comes with a Quad-camera setup on the rear side that includes a primary 48MP sensor stacked vertically with an 8MP Ultra Wide-angle lens, 2MP Portraits lens and also a 2MP macro lens. On the front, it has a 16MP camera housed inside a dewdrop-styled notch and also supports AI beautification.
The A9 sports a with 6.5-inch HD+ display instead of a Full HD+ display on the predecessor and powered by the Snapdragon 665 Processor with a massive 5,000mAh battery that supports reverse charging. It is available in two variants – 4GB RAM or 8GB RAM with 128GB Storage on both. There is also a dedicated MicroSD to expand the storage upto 512GB.
