Oppo A83, a mid-range A series smartphone was first introduced in China and now the company has made it official in India. Similiar to Oppo F5, this device also comes with A.I. beauty recognition technology that recognizes your Gender, Age, Skin tone, and Skin type to capture high-quality selfies. The absence of fingerprint scanner is the major drawback of this device. Instead of a fingerprint scanner, Oppo has incorporated Face Unlock which immediately unlocks the phone when you put your face in front of the camera. Its a Dual SIM 4G smartphone houses a dedicated microSD tray and supports VoLTE.
It has a 5.7-inch 18:9 display with a resolution of 1440×720 pixels and fuelled by the 2.5GHz MediaTek octa-core CPU mated with 3GB of RAM. In the camera department, it includes a 13MP primary camera that is capable of taking a 50MP photo in Ultra HD mode by merging multiple photos into one. The front camera has an 8MP sensor and supports A.I. powered beautification. It runs Android 7.1 Nougat with Color OS 3.2 that comes with various features and customizations. One of the key features is the O-Share lets you share files between Oppo devices with speeds up to 100 times faster than Bluetooth.
