After a long wait, OnePlus has officially launched OnePlus Nord Watch in India. It is also the first wearable under the Nord category. The OnePlus Nord Watch features a 1.78-inch AMOLED display and HD resolution with a 60Hz screen refresh rate. It also supports a brightness level of 500nits for improved outdoor visibility. The watch connects to your phone through a dedicated N Health app and allows allows you full remote access to features such as receiving message notifications and controlling music played on your phone.
As stated above, the watch pairs with N Health app and allows you to track your overall state of health and monitor daily activities such as step counting, calorie measurement, and sleep quality. The Nord Watch is equipped with 105 fitness modes such as Yoga, Cycling, etc., and automatically logs in to your steps when you run or walk.
The OnePlus Nord Watch generates a personal health summary in less than two minutes and displays your heart rate, stress levels, and oxygen saturation (SpO2). For women, the watch helps predict the monthly menstrual cycle with a built-in algorithm. The watch also supports more than 100 wallpapers available through the N Health app.
The OnePlus Nord Watch weatherproof with IP68 rating, and the strap is made from a breathable and sweat-permeable material. The watch body frame is made from a sturdy metal which fortifies it against falls. According to OnePlus, the Nord watch has passed 168 hours of burn-in testing and comes with buttons that have been tried over 200,000 times. There is also great power in its watch strap, as it can take tension up to a weight of 8 kilograms.
Coming to the battery, the OnePlus Nord Watch is backed by a 230mAh battery that lasts up to 10 days of usage or 30 days of standby time. Additionally, the OnePlus Nord Watch lowers the power consumption when on Bluetooth, and Bluetooth 5.2 doubles the transmission speed for quicker data transfers. The OnePlus Nord Watch is compatible with Android 6.0 and iOS 11 and above.
The OnePlus Nord Watch comes in two colors – Midnight Black and Deep Blue and is priced at ₹4,999. It will be on sale from October 3rd from 12 noon on OnePlus.in, OnePlus Store App and select OnePlus Experience Stores. The Nord Watch will also be made available on Amazon.in from October 4th from 12 noon onwards.
