OnePlus has launched its much anticipated 2018 flagship OnePlus 6 in India at an event held in Mumbai. It is also the first smartphone from OnePlus to come equipped with a Display Notch. The notch houses Light and Proximity sensors, Front Camera, Notification LED and Front Speaker. It has a 6.28-inch Optic AMOLED Display with a resolution of 2280×1080 pixels and has an aspect ratio of 19:9. It is powered by the top-of-the-line Snapdragon 845 Mobile platform with dash charged powered 3,300mAh battery. The OnePlus 6 is offered in two configurations – 6GB RAM with 64GB Storage and 8GB RAM with 128GB or 256GB storage.
In terms of design, OnePlus 6 has a premium Glass back with Gorilla Glass on both front and rear side. Apart from the rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, OnePlus 6 is also supports Face Unlock that unlocks the device in 0.4 seconds. Coming to the camera, OnePlus 6 has a dual camera setup on the rear side that includes a primary 16MP f/1.7 sensor and a secondary 20MP f/1.7 sensor vertically positioned with Dual-tone LED flash. The front camera has a 16MP sensor and supports Portrait selfie. The rear camera supports OIS, EIS and also 4K video recording at 30fps. All three cameras of OnePlus 6 are made by Sony and the secondary rear camera & front camera are same as the one which is present on the OnePlus 5T. This smartphone runs on latest Android 8.1 Oreo with OxygenOS 5.1. OnePlus is also releasing the Android P beta in the coming weeks.

OnePlus 6 Colors, Price, and Availability
The OnePlus 6 is offered in three colors – Mirror Black, Midnight Black, & Silk White and priced at ₹34,999 for 6GB/64GB (Mirror Black Only) and ₹39,999 for 8GB/128GB (All Colors). It will be available for purchase on OnePlus.in, Amazon.in, OnePlus Experience store as well as trough all other OnePlus offline sales channels starting 22nd May 2018. The Limited-edition Silk White variant will be available from 5th June 2018. Note: The 8GB/256GB variant is not available in India but the company may introduce in the coming months.

OnePlus will be hosting pop-up events across 8 Indian cities, including Bengaluru, Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata and Ahmedabad between 21st to 22nd May 2018.
