OnePlus has launched yet another powerful smartphone OnePlus 3T starting $439. In terms of design, this smartphone is same as OnePlus 3 which was launched in June 2016. There are no changes in the dimensions as well as weight. OnePlus 3T flaunts a 5.5″ full HD optic AMOLED display with a pixel density of 401ppi and powered by top-of-the-line Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor clocked at 2.35GHz and 6GB of RAM. There are two storage variants 64GB and 128GB with no expandable memory.
Coming to the camera, The 16MP rear camera is made up of Sony IMX 298 sensor and coupled with dual LED Flash. To take quality selfies OnePlus has added 16MP front camera made up Samsung 3P8SP sensor and features PDAF and EIS. The primary camera is capable of recording 4K videos at 30 frames per second and 720p slow motion videos at 120 frames per second. In terms of connectivity, this smartphone comes with dual-band Wi-Fi support, Bluetooth 4.1, NFC, Reversible USB Type-C connector and also 3.5mm audio jack. The 3400mAh battery is non-removable and also supports patented dash charging technology. You can able to use the device for 7 hours by charging the device for just 15 mins. It’s a dual SIM 4G device runs on highly customized Oxygen OS based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
Difference Between OnePlus 3T and OnePlus 3
The difference between OnePlus 3T and OnePlus 3 is the Processor, Front Camera, and the Battery capacity. OnePlus 3T comes with 2.35GHz Snapdragon 821 processor, a 16MP front camera with Samsung 3P8SP sensor, and 3400mAh battery. OnePlus 3 comes with 2.2GHz Snapdragon 820 processor, 8MP front camera, and 3000mAh battery.
Color, Price, and Availability
OnePlus 3T available in Soft Gold and new Gun Metal color options with two storage variants 64GB and 128GB. The 64GB variant priced at $439 / €439 and 128GB variant priced at $479 / €439. Both variants are available to buy starting November 22 in the U.S. and from November 28 in Europe. The Soft Gold color is available shortly after launch.
Update: 64GB Gun Metal variant available on sales day and 128 GB is available in a limited quantity. 64GB Soft Gold variant is available in late December and as of now, there is no 128GB Soft Gold variant. OnePlus might launch it in future.
Update (Nov 24) : OnePlus 3T to launch in India on December 2.
Update (Dec 2) : OnePlus 3T launched in India. 64 GB costs ₹ 29,999 and 128GB costs ₹ 34,999. It will be available exclusively on Amazon India starting December 14, 2016, at 12 midnight.
