Nokia Releases Android 9.0 Pie Update for Nokia 6 (2017)

Nokia has started rolling out the latest Android 9.0 Pie update for its 2-year old Nokia 6 (2017). Juho Sarvikas, Chief Product Officer, HMD Global has confirmed the news on Twitter. The update size is about 1.8GB and also includes February 2019 Google Security patches. As usual, the update is rolling out batch by batch and might take a few days to reach every device.

You will receive the update notification once the update is available on your device. You can also check for the update manually by going to Settings -> About -> System Updates -> Check for update. Before initiating the update, make sure the battery is 50% or above. Nokia recommends downloading the update over the WiFi connection.
