Earlier (May 30, 2018): Just after announcing the Nokia X6 in China, Nokia launches upgraded versions on Nokia 2, Nokia 3, Nokia 5 dubbed as Nokia 2.1, Nokia 3.1, and Nokia 5.1 at an event held in Moscow, Russia. The Nokia 2.1 is powered by the Android Go Edition wherein the Nokia 3.1 & Nokia 5.1 are powered by the Android One with assured three years of monthly security updates and two years of OS updates.
Nokia 2.1
The updated Nokia 2.1 features a slightly bigger 5.5-inch HD display and powered by the quad-core Snapdragon 425 CPU with a 4,000mAh battery that can provide up to 2-days of battery life. It has a polycarbonate back with metallic accents and protects the phone from scratches. Other key highlights of this device are a 5MP front camera, 8MP rear camera, Dual front-facing stereo speakers and a micro USB port. The new Nokia 2.1 will be available from July 2018 for a global average retail price of USD 115 (Approx. ₹7,800). Nokia 2.1 is the second Android Go Edition phone after Nokia 1 which was introduced in India in March 2018.

Nokia 3.1
Nokia 3.1 sports a 5.2-inch display with an aspect ratio of 18:9 and powered by the MediaTek octa-core CPU mated with 2GB or 3GB of RAM. It has a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and an 8MP front camera. The new Nokia 3.1 will be available from June 2018 for a global average retail price of Euro 139 (Approx. ₹10,900) for 3GB/16GB and EUR 169 (Approx. ₹13,300) for 3GB/32GB variant. There is no fingerprint scanner on the Nokia 3.1.

Nokia 5.1
The Nokia 5.1 is made from a single block of 6000 series aluminium refined through 33 stage process of machining, anodizing, and polishing. It has a 5.5-inch Full HD+ display with an aspect ratio of 18:9 and powered by the MediaTek Helio P18 octa-core processor with 2GB or 3GB of RAM on board. Coming to the camera, it has an upgraded 16MP rear camera with PDAF and a wide-angle 8MP front camera. The new Nokia 5.1 will be available from June 2018 for a global average retail price of Euro 189 (Approx. ₹14,800) for 2GB/16GB and EUR 210 (Approx. ₹16,500) for 3GB/32GB variant.
