Nokia Releases Android Pie Update for Nokia 2.1

Nokia 2.1 was first introduced Globally in May 2018 followed by India launch in August 2017 with Android Oreo Go Edition out of the Box. Now, Nokia has started rolling out the Android Pie update for its entry-level Nokia 2.1. As it’s an Android Go Edition smartphone, the new update will make Nokia 2.1 the first smartphone to receive the Android Pie Go Edition update. The update size is about 825MB and comes with February 2019 Google Security patches.

Make a note that, the OTA update will be released batch by batch and will be first available for a small percent of random users. Based on the Feedback it will expand to others in a few days. You will receive the push notification once the update hits your device. You can also check for the update manually by going to Settings -> About -> System Updates -> Check for update.
