Apple has just announced much anticipated Mac Book Pro at an event held in Cupertino, California. There are two variants – 13″ and 15″. Both devices are equipped with the TouchBar and TouchID placed just above the keyboard. These feature a new thunderbolt 3 Type-C port which also acts as charging port. Thunderbolt supports speed up to 40Gbps and USB 3.1 up to 10Gbps. Apart from these two, Apple has also introduced an entry-level MacBook Pro without Touch Bar.
Touch Bar and Touch ID
In new MacBook Pro, function keys are replaced by Touch Bar. It changes automatically and shows the relevant tools based on what you are doing. You can change the volume, brightness, emoji prediction, predictive text etc. Touch id lets you log in faster and also allow you to do online purchases with apple pay.
