When it comes to budget smartphones, Moto G series is the best selling smartphones in India. Today Motorola has introduced a new M series smartphone Moto M in India starting at ₹ 15,999. This phone features an all-metal design with the rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. It comes with a Hybrid SIM slot supports 4G and also VoLTE. You can use the secondary slot to expand the device memory up to 128GB via microSD card.
It is equipped with a 5.5″ Full HD display with a pixel density of 401ppi. Under the hood, Moto M runs on 2.24GHz MediaTek Octa-core processor with 4GB of RAM. The 3050mAh battery is non-removable and supports fast charging (5V/2A). It offers 32GB onboard storage and runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. Other specs include USB OTG, Bluetooth 4.1, Dual Band WiFi AC, GPS, USB Type-C, and Dolby ATMOS. It also comes with Water Repellent Coating to provide protection from water.
In the camera department, the front camera has a 16MP sensor with an aperture of f/2.0 and coupled with Dual LED CCD flash. It supports PDAF and capable of recording Full HD videos at 30 frames per second. The front camera has an 8MP sensor with 85° wide-angle lens to take quality selfies.
