Along with Moto G6 Series, Motorola has also announced 5th gen. E series smartphones – Moto E5, Moto E5 Plus and Moto E5 Play. All three smartphones are powered by the Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Mobile Platform and come with the rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. These devices boot on Android Oreo out of the box and depending on the region, it will be available in Single as well as Dual SIM configurations. The Moto E5 series also support Moto enhancements such as Moto Display, Moto actions etc.
Moto E5
The Moto E5 comes with a 5.7-inch HD+ display with an aspect ratio of 18:9 and powered by the Snapdragon 425 quad-core CPU paired with 2GB of RAM. It has a 13MP PDAF camera on the rear and 5MP front camera with selfie flash. This device has a curved back and equipped with a 4000mAh battery that lasts long a day. There is also a dedicated microSD slot lets you expand the storage up to 128GB. The Moto E5 will be available to buy in the coming months in various countries in Asia Pacific, Europe & Latin America with a starting MSRP of €149 EUR (Approx. ₹12,130).

Moto E5 Plus
It has a slightly bigger 6-inch 18:9 display and fuelled by the Snapdragon 425 quad-core processor with 3GB of RAM. This device is equipped with a huge 5000mAh battery that can provide up to 1.5 days of battery life and provides up to 6 hours of battery life in just 15 minutes of charging. For photography, the rear camera has a 12MP camera with Laser Autofocus and an 8MP camera on the front with selfie flash. The Moto E5 plus will roll out over the coming months in various countries in Asia Pacific, Europe, Latin America & North America with a starting MSRP of €169 EUR (Approx. ₹13,800).

Moto E5 Play
Moto E5 Play is the entry-level variant of E5 series, comes with a 5.2-inch display with 16:9 aspect ratio and driven by the Snapdragon 425 or 427 quad-core CPU with 2GB RAM and a 2500mAh battery. It also comes with water-repellent coatings to safeguard the phone from accidental spills and splashes. Coming to the camera, it has an 8MP sensor on the rear side with LED flash and a 5MP camera on the front with selfie flash. The fingerprint scanner is placed just below the rear camera module with a Moto logo. There is no official information about the Moto E5 pricing.
