Just after launching Canvas 1 2018, Micromax has introduced Canvas 2 2018 in India. It is the upgraded version of Canvas 2 2017 which was launched in May 2017. It comes with an improved display, better front camera, and a high capacity battery. Additionally, Micromax has also added Face Unlock feature that securely unlocks the smartphone using your face. The Micromax Canvas 2 2018 flaunts a 5.7-inch HD+ display with an aspect ratio of 18:9 and powered by the MediaTek quad-core CPU with 2GB RAM. It has a 4000mAh battery, 16GB storage, and ships with Android Nougat.
In terms of camera, the rear camera has a 13MP sensor with LED flash and supports Beauty mode, time lapse, Watermark etc. For selfie and video calls, it includes an 8MP snapper accompanied by a Selfie flash and supports Portrait mode, Beauty mode etc. Other key specifications are WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, and a micro USB port. It’s a Dual SIM 4G device houses a dedicated microSD tray and also VoLTE. Apart from the Face Unlock, there is also a fingerprint scanner which is mounted on the rear side of the device.
