Micromax Launches Bharat-1 4G VoLTE Phone in Partnership with BSNL at ₹2,200

Micromax has launched a new affordable 4G phone dubbed as Micromax Bharat 1 under the tagline ‘Desk Ka 4G Phone’. It has a 2.4-inch QVGA display and powered by the Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 205 Mobile Platform. Bharat 1 comes with 512MB RAM, 4GB internal storage and also includes a microSD tray. It’s a Dual SIM 4G device supports VoLTE. It houses a 2000mAh battery and there is also a torchlight mounted on its top.

Although it comes bundled with a BSNL SIM, users can freely use this phone with any other service providers including Jio. With the bundled BSNL SIM users can enjoy unlimited calling and unlimited data at ₹97 every month. This phone also supports Live TV, Music, Movies, and Videos which are available under Micromax entertainment apps. Out of the box, it supports 22 different languages and also comes pre-loaded with BHIM app for cashless payments. For connectivity, it includes Micro USB port, 3.5mm audio port, WiFi, and GPS. This phone even supports WiFi hotspot, which is not present in the JioPhone.

Micromax Bharat 1 is offered in Black color and priced at ₹2,200. It will be available across India at retail outlets, starting 20th October 2017.
