Mi A1 is the first Android One powered device from Xiaomi launched in India in September 2017. During the launch, the company has promised Android Oreo update before the end of 2017. So to get the feedback about the update and to slash the bugs before the final release, company is looking for Beta testers for Android Oreo on Mi A1. Registration has already begun and it will be open until 11th December. The users selected for Beta testing will be announced on 15th December 2017 via Mi Community PM.
How to Apply for Mi A1 Android Oreo Beta Program?
- Go to Mi Community Page and post the screenshot of your Mi A1’s ‘About phone’ page. (Settings -> About phone)
- Fill out this form to apply for Beta program
What all you need?
- Mi A1 smartphone
- Link of your Mi Community profile
- IMEI Number of your Mi A1 device
- Telegram app User ID – All the bug reporting and related discussion will happen on Telegram App. So it is mandatory to provide your Telegram app ID. If you don’t have telegram, Download it from Google Play and create one User ID
Selection Criteria & Rules
- This application is open to only Mi A1 users
- Your Mi Community ranking/title should be at least ‘Advanced Bunny’
- You should be an active member of Mi Community, India
- You should not leak the ROM provided during Mi A1 Beta testing
- Should not post anything related to the beta team on Social Media, in other community section or elsewhere
- Should have a thorough knowledge of Android
- Telegram User ID is a must. So update your profile on Mi Community
