LG V30 was first introduced at IFA 2017, and today the company has officially launched it in India. It’s the successor of LG V20 which was launched in 2016. Unlike V20 or V10 there is no secondary display, instead, this smartphone comes with a floating bar and Always-on display that replaces the secondary screen by providing shortcuts to quick tools when the screen is off. The floating Bar can be customized with up to five apps for easy access and can also be dragged off to the side. The only difference between the LG V30 and V30+ is the storage. LG V30 has 64GB storage wherein V30+ has 128GB of storage. Rest all specifications remain same.
The LG V30+ sports a 6-inch Quad HD+ OLED display with an aspect ratio of 18:9 and protected by Corning Gorilla glass. Under the hood is Octa-core Snapdragon 835 CPU mated with 4GB of RAM and the non-removable 3000mAh battery. The battery supports Quick Charge 3.0 that charges from 0 to 50% in 30 minutes and also offers wireless charging. It has a Dual camera setup on the rear side that includes a primary 16MP standard and a secondary 13MP wide angle sensor with EIS, OIS & Hybrid Autofocus. Also, the camera comes preloaded with 16 unique cine effects that can be easily applied to videos with a simple tap. At the front, it equipped with a 5MP camera with 90° wide-angle lens for panoramic selfies. Other key specifications are Hi-Fi Quad DAC with audio tuning by B&O PLAY, 5GHz WiFi ac, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, GPS, and a USB Type-C port.
The LG V30+ is offered in two colors – Aurora Black, & Cloud Silver and priced at ₹44,990. It will be available to buy online exclusively via Amazon India starting 18th December 2017. The company is also offering a free one-time screen replacement and a wireless charger with the LG V30+. Furthermore, Customers of LG V30+ will also receive ₹6,500 worth of in-game purchases when downloading and installing the popular game Beat Fever by WRKSHP.
