LG K7i is an entry-level smartphone powered by the Ultrasonic Mosquito Away Technology to provide protection from mosquitoes. It uses Sound Waves which is Silent, Invisible, Chemical-free, Odourless and also free from harmful radiation. As it doesn’t use any repellents doesn’t need any refilling. As per LG, the ultrasonic frequency used is above 30kHz which is safe and harmless for humans.
Coming to the specifications, LG K7i comes with a 5″ FWVGA display and powered by the unknown quad-core processor with 2GB of RAM. It’s a dual SIM 4G smartphone offers an internal storage of 16GB and that can be further expanded up to 32GB using a dedicated microSD slot. For photography, it includes an 8MP primary camera with LED flash and 5MP front camera with support for Gesture shot. It still boots on the dated Android Marshmallow and there is no official information about the Nougat update. Other key specifications are 2500mAh battery, Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS, FM Radio and VoLTE support.
The package consists of two back covers – one normal back cover and another Mosquito Away cover. Both covers are user replaceable and can be easily replaced whenever needed. The Mosquito Away back cover consists of a speaker that produces ultrasonic frequencies to drive away that mosquitoes. LG has also included a stand with the package to place the smartphone when the Mosquito Away mode is activated.
