After launching Phab 2 Plus in November 2016, Lenovo has launched another Phab series smartphone Lenovo Phab 2 in India for ₹11,999. It comes with an all metal body, Dual 4G SIM and VoLTE support. It’s the downgraded version of Phab 2 Plus with few changes in the specifications. There is no fingerprint scanner.
It sports a 6.4″ IPS display with a resolution of 1280 x720 pixels and powered by 1.3GHz MediaTek processor with 3GB of RAM. Similar to Phab 2 Plus it also packs a 4050mAh battery and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The rear camera has a 13MP sensor with PDAF and LED flash. The front camera has a 5MP sensor and made up of wide angle lens. Other specifications include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, 32GB storage, Expandable memory up to 128GB and Hybrid slot. It also comes with Dolby Atmos and Dolby Audio Capture 5.1 support to record high-quality audio.
Lenovo Phab 2 is available in two color options – Champagne Gold and Gunmetal Grey. It is priced at ₹11,999 and exclusively available via Flipkart starting December 9.
Difference Between Lenovo Phab 2 and Phab 2 Plus
The major difference between both smartphones is the Display, Camera, and Fingerprint scanner. Phab 2 comes with the 720p display, Single camera setup without the fingerprint scanner. Phab 2 Plus comes with the 1080p display, Dual camera setup with the fingerprint scanner. The Phab 2 is priced at ₹ 11,999 while Phab 2 Plus is priced at ₹ 14,999.
