Jio today officially announced the commencement of JioFiber service across 1,600 cities in India. Jio broadband plans start from 100mbps at ₹699 and go up to 1 Gbps at ₹8,499. JioFiber Services Include – High-speed broadband Upto 1 Gbps, Free domestic voice calls, Conferencing, & International calling, TV video calling and conferencing, OTT apps, Gaming, Home Networking, Device Security, VR Experience, and Premium content platform. JioFiber Yearly Plans with Welcome Offer
With JioForever annual plan, users will get Jio Home Gateway, Jio 4K Set Top Box, a Smart TV, Subscription to OTT apps and Unlimited Voice and Data. JioFiber users can choose a Welcome Offer from various price points available. There are totally six different plans – Bronze, Silver, Gold, Diamond, Platinum, and Titanium. The entry-level ₹699 Bronze plan will offer three months of complimentary access to JioCinema and Jio Saavn apps wherein the ₹849 Silver plan will give 3-moths of free access to OTT apps. Rest all plans comes with 1-year of free access to OTT apps. Those who opt for the yearly plan will get a free device (Bluetooth Speaker or TV) as mentioned in the above table. Those who don’t want the device can opt for either 2 extra months or 100% double data. In all the plans, the Speed will be reduced to 1mbps after the Fair Usage Policy (FUP) and extra Data is available only for 6 months as introductory Benefits.
Make a note that, free devices such as Bluetooth speakers or Smart TV are applicable only on yearly Plans. You will not be able to avail these devices in case if you opt for 6-months or 3-months plan. These plans come with different offers. If you opt for a 6-months plan, you can avail either One Extra month (Total 6+1 Month) or 50% Extra data. If you opt for a 3-months plan, you will get 25% extra data. These long term plan can also be paid using monthly installments (EMI).
How much I have to Pay?
If you are planning to get a JioFiber connection, initially you’ll have to pay ₹2,500 (₹1,500 Refundable security deposit + ₹1,500 Non-refundable installation fee). Once you pay, you’ll receive a free Jio Home Gateway worth ₹5000 and a 4K Set-top box worth ₹6,000.

JioFiber for Existing Customers
For existing Jio Subscribers, Jio representative will get in touch with you for upgrading your services. On recharging with a monthly/quarterly/annual plan, every JioFiber user will get a Set Top Box to enjoy the full bouquet of services. Jio has also confirmed that all the communication with users will happen on the MyJio app. Make sure you download and check the MyJio app for any notifications.
Note: GST additional on all plans, as applicable and extra GBs are available for 6 months as introductory benefit. For Gaming, Device Security, Home Networking, VR Experience, Video Content services, provided by RCITPL (a platform service company) and TV Video Calling & Conferencing, subscribers need to purchase compatible devices.
