itel Mobile India is poised to revolutionize the 5G smartphone market by introducing a new 5G device priced under 10K. Itel has announced that the forthcoming itel P55 5G will claim the title of India’s most budget-friendly 5G smartphone, available for less than 10K. The anticipated release date for the smartphone in India is slated for sometime around the last week of September 2023 or possibly a little later. Counterpoint Research reports that itel has already won the affection of millions in the sub-Rs 8,000 segments, boasting the highest rate of repeat users among initial purchasers.
As of September 19th, the most affordable 5G phone available in India is the POCO M6 Pro, priced at ₹10,999. The upcoming itel P55 5G is set to rival the M6 Pro along with a few other devices, such as Redmi 12 5G, vivo T2x, etc. in the 5G smartphone market. Just in time for the festive season, there’s a possibility that the price of the itel P55 could be further reduced with card discounts.
According to the teaser image, the itel P55 5G will feature dual rear cameras arranged in a vertical alignment with both the power button and volume keys located on the right side. The smartphone is expected to arrive with a fingerprint reader, USB-C port, and Android 13 out of the box.
