Almost a month after launching its affordable triple-camera smartphone, Infinix Smart 3 Plus, the brand started rolling out a new OTA update with new features, performance improvements, and bug fixes. Infinix has also confirmed that the OTA targets all the issues reported by customers till now and is estimated to be completed by June end. The update will be rolled out in three phases.
The 1st phase has already been rolled out which covered 30% of Smart 3 Plus users while the 2nd phase will go live on 20th June which will cover the next 60% users followed by the 3rd phase starting 30th June for remaining 10% devices. Apart from the various bug fixes and performance improvements, the update also includes May 2019 Google Security Patches. Additionally, Infinix has introduced multiple World Cup-themed AR stickers and a new Infinix theme song, which can be found in the ringtones section by the name of The Future is Now.
