Honor View 10 along with the Honor 7X was first introduced on 5th December 2017 at an event held in London. The first device went on sale in India was Honor 7X and a few days later, the company had opened registrations for Honor View 10 on Amazon India. Today Honor has officially announced that the device will go on sale starting 8th January 2018. The Honor View 10 sports a 5.99″ FHD+ FullView display with an aspect ratio of 18:9 and powered by the Huawei’s own Kirin 970 octa-core CPU mated with 6GB of RAM. It’s a Dual SIM 4G device houses a Hybrid SIM tray and supports VoLTE. More importantly, both slots support 4G and VoLTE. This device equipped with a non-removable 3750mAh battery that supports fast charging and runs on Android 8.0 Oreo with EMUI 8.0 on top.
The major highlight of this smartphone is the A.I (Artificial Intelligence). It has built-in NPU (Neural-network Processing Unit) that enables deep learning based on user behavior. The EMUI 8.0 understands how you use your smartphone and allocates resources based on your behavior. Honor View 10 comes with Dual camera setup on the rear which includes a 16MP RGB and a 20MP Monochrome sensor coupled with a LED flash. As per Honor, the intelligent photography algorithms of the View 10 identifies 13 different types of scenes & objects and automatically adjusts camera settings to click better pictures. The front camera has a 5MP sensor and supports A.I. powered Portrait mode for accurate background blurring. Other key features are Fingerprint scanner, Game mode, 5GHz WiFi ac, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, USB Type-C port and USB OTG.
