Honor 8 Lite is a younger sibling of Honor 8 which was launched in October 2017. It comes with a 2.5D unibody design with chamfered edges and 12 layers of glass at the rear side. The fingerprint scanner is mounted at the rear side and equipped with a chip-level security and capable of unlocking the smartphone in Just 0.3 seconds. It’s a Dual SIM 4G device features a Hybrid SIM slot and also supports VoLTE. Honor 8 Lite packs a 3000mAh battery and boots on EMUI 5.0 based on Android 7.0 Nougat includes features such as Split-screen, Hi-Share etc.
It comes with a 5.2″ Full HD display with dynamic backlight adjustment and color enhancement technology to provide better viewing experience. Under the hood is Huawei made Kirin 655 Octa-core processor paired with 4GB of RAM with Mali-T830 MP2 GPU. In the camera department, At the front, Honor 8 lite features an 8MP camera made up of 77° Wide-angle lens and comes with various selfie modes. Primary camera has 12MP BSI CMOS sensor with PDAF and LED flash lets you take best shots even in the low lighting conditions. For connectivity, Wifi+ for the optimized hotspot, Bluetooth, and GPS. Also, WLAN signal bridge feature of Honor 8 lite allows the smartphone act as a router to share Wi-Fi with friends.
In the camera department, At the front, Honor 8 lite features an 8MP camera made up of 77° Wide-angle lens and comes with various selfie modes. The primary camera has 12MP BSI CMOS sensor with PDAF and LED flash lets you take best shots even in the low lighting conditions. The rear camera also supports Multiple video recording modes and comes with inbuilt video editor for creating short movies.
Honor 8 Lite is offered in Black, and Blue colors and priced at ₹17,999. It will go on sale through offline retailers starting May 12, 2017. As of now, only Black color is available across the country while Blue color is made available later this month.
