Google today announces Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL at Google I/O 2019 developer conference. Both the Pixel 3a and the Pixel 3a XL are affordable variants of the Pixel 3 and the Pixel 3 XL which were introduced last year. Apart from the Display and the Battery, both devices share the same set of specifications. The Pixel 3 has a 5.6-inch display with a 3,000mAh battery wherein the Pixel 3 XL has a 6-inch display with a 3,700mAh battery.
Both Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL smartphones are fuelled by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 670 Mobile Platform with 4GB RAM on board. In addition, these devices also include the Titan M Security Chip to secure the most sensitive on-device data and operating system. In the camera department, both Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a are equipped with the same 12.2MP f/1.8 sensor which is present on the Pixel 3. The front camera has an 8MP sensor instead of the Dual camera setup on the Pixel 3. Coming to the software, both devices boot on the latest Android 9.0 Pie and will receive a minimum of 3 years of OS and security updates.

The Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL are offered in Clearly White, Just Black, & a new Purple-ish color and will be available in the US starting 8th May 2019. The Pixel 3a starts at $399 while the Pixel 3a XL at $479. In India, the Pixel 3a is priced at ₹39,999 and Pixel 3a XL at ₹44,999. Both will be available to purchase from Flipkart and also through offline retail stores starting 15th May 2019. Additionally, In India, Google is also offering 3 months of YouTube Music Premium with Pixel 3a.
