Google Home and Google Home Mini Launched in India Starting at ₹4,499

Google has officially launched Google Home and Google Home Mini smart speakers in India at an event held in New Delhi. Both speakers are powered by the Google Assistant and respond to your queries with ‘OK Google’ command. The Google Home Mini is the miniature version Google Home and has almost same functionalities. The major difference between both speakers is the Size. The Google Home comes with a bigger speaker with a passive radiator wherein the Home Mini has a smaller speaker with a 40mm driver. You can use this device to get information about weather, sports or setting Alarm etc. It will also allow you to Play music from YouTube, Stream movies, TV shows onto your TV when paired with the Chromecast device. There are four LED lights placed at the top of the device let you know that you are interacting with the device. In both devices, the top surface is touch-enabled and allows you to Play/Pause the music, Adjust the volume etc.

As per Google, Google Home understands Indian accents and will respond to you with uniquely Indian contexts. Even you will receive the latest stories from sources such as Times of India, NDTV, Dainik Bhaskar, India Today, Aaj Tak etc. Google also confirmed that the Hindi support is coming to both devices later this year.
