Gionee M7 Power is the first 18:9 aspect ratio smartphone from Gionee and it was first introduced in China in September 2017. Today, the company has officially launched it in India. It sports a 6-inch IPS display with an aspect ratio 18:9 just like Galaxy Note 8, Honor 9i, Vivo V7 Plus etc. This device gets the power from octa-core Snapdragon CPU coupled with 4GB Of RAM. The unique selling point of this smartphone is the massive 5000mAh battery which supports fast charging and can provide backup up to 2 days. It has a flat back cover design and the metal part at the back is made out of No.6 series aluminum with diamond or laser cut, making it slip-proof.
Also, there is a fingerprint scanner mounted on the rear side and it can also be used for various tasks such as taking selfies etc. For photography, it has a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and 8MP front camera. The camera supports various camera modes such as Face beauty, Group selfie, Bokeh mode, Professional, Translation, 3D photo etc. It runs on Android Nougat with Gionee’s Amigo 5.0 skin on top. Pre-orders open on 17th September at 5 PM and shipping begins on 25th November. Buyers will also get up to 100GB of additional 4G data from Jio on recharge of ₹309 and above.
