Asus has started rolling out a new System update (FOTA) to its recently launched Zenfone Max Pro M1. The update includes various performance improvements such as Camera, Fingerprint sensor response speed etc. Also, the update comes with May 2018 security patches. As its staged rollout, it will take some time to reach your device. You will receive the push notification on your smartphone once the update hits your device. You can also check for the update manually by going to Settings -> About -> System Updates -> Check for update.
Things to Remember
- To be on a safer side, Backup of your smartphone before initiating the update
- Ensure the phone has sufficient battery (At least 50% or above)
- Download the update over Wi-Fi network for better results
