Along with the Zenfone Max M1, Asus has also announced an entry-level Zenfone Lite L1 in India. It looks a bit different in design compared with the Zenfone Max M1 but, comes with the same display, processor and the rear camera. The key changes are the RAM, Storage, Battery, and Front camera. The Zenfone Lite L1 has 2GB RAM, 16GB Storage, 3,000mAh battery and a 5MP front camera wherein the Zenfone Max M1 has 3GB RAM, 32GB storage, 4,000mAh battery, and 8MP front camera. Apart from these, this device also lacks a fingerprint scanner but supports Face Unlock.
To recall, the Zenfone Lite L1 sports a 5.45-inch display with an aspect ratio of 18:9 and powered by the Snapdragon 430 Mobile Platform with a 3,000mAh battery. It has the same 13MP rear camera which is present on the Zenfone Max M1 but comes with a downgraded 5MP camera with selfie flash. Other key features are Portrait modem, Dual SIM, Dedicated MicroSD slot, ZenUI 5 and USB OTG. Similar to Zenfone Max M1, this device also comes preloaded with Asus’s new app called Mobile Manager that has various features such as battery modes, App auto start controls, Manage security & permissions etc.
The Asus Zenfone Lite L1 is offered in Black & Gold colors and exclusively available via Flipkart at an introductory price of ₹5,999. Buyers can also avail Flipkart’s Complete Mobile Protection with theft protection worth ₹399 at ₹99. It will go on sale during Flipkart’s Festive Dhamaka Sale and the dates for the same will be announced soon.
