Asus announces its latest flagship smartphone Asus Zenfone 6 at an event held in Spain. It comes with a unique flip camera mechanism to take photos as well as selfies. The flip mechanism is driven by a precision stepper motor that flips the module by a full 180° to switch the cameras from rear to front use. The dual camera setup consists of a primary Sony-made 48MP sensor, a 13MP wide-angle sensor and a LED flash placed in between the two sensors. The flip mechanism can be easily positioned at a various angle and you can also take the snaps at 90-degree position.
It has a 6.46-inch Full HD+ NanoEdge display and powered by the latest Snapdragon 855 Mobile Platform with a massive 5,000mAh battery that supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 4.0. The Asus Zenfone 6 comes in three configurations – 6GB RAM with 64GB Storage, 6GB RAM with 128GB Storage and 8GB RAM with 256GB Storage. There is also a dedicated MicroSD slot that supports upto 2TB. The Asus Zenfone 6 is offered in two colors – Midnight Black and Twilight Silver and will go on sale in select countries in Europe starting 16th May 2019. The 6GB/64GB at 499 Euros (Approx. ₹39,200), 6GB/128GB at 559 Euros (Approx. ₹43,800) and the high-end 8GB/256GB at 599 Euros (Approx. ₹46,970).
