Apple has a launched a new 9.7″ iPad with Retina Display starting at ₹ 28,900. It will replace the iPad Air 2 which was launched in 2014. It is powered by Apple’s 3rd Gen. A9 Processor with M9 motion coprocessor and also includes a Touch ID for security. 
The iPad features a 9.7″ Retina display with the resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels and has a pixel density 264 ppi. The rear camera has an 8 Megapixel sensor capable of shooting full HD videos at 30fps as well as slow motion and time-lapse. Besides, 1.2 Megapixel camera at the front for Facetime calls. It also supports multitasking features like Split Screen, Picture in Picture, and Slide Over.
Apple 9.7″ iPad comes in Silver, Gold, and Space Gray colors and starts at ₹ 28,900 for the 32GB with Wi-Fi model and ₹ 39,900 for the 32GB Wi-Fi + Cellular model at Apple Authorised Resellers. Polyurethane Smart Covers for iPad are available for ₹ 3,700 in Charcoal Grey, White, Midnight Blue, Pink Sand, and Red at Apple Authorised Resellers. It is available to buy in India starting April 2017.
