Amazon Echo Input Launched in India at ₹2,999

Amazon officially announces the Echo Input in India. It is the slimmer version on the 2nd Gen. Echo Dot but doesn’t include any built-in speakers. The Echo Input can be easily connected to an external speaker through a 3.5mm audio cable or using the built-in Bluetooth. It comes with the four microphone array so you can talk to Alexa from across the room.

  • Plug the Echo Input to a Power source
  • Install the Alexa app on your smartphone
  • Using the app, Connect the Echo Input to WiFi and Register it
  • Connect the external speaker to Alexa using the provided 3.5mm Audio cable or wirelessly using the Bluetooth
  • Interact with Alexa by asking questions

Echo Input is just 12.5mm thick and includes a Microphone Off button & an Action button on top. When connected to Echo Input, your speaker can be added to a new or existing multi-room music group. You can adjust the volume of the Echo Input with your voice and Play music across Echo devices and connected speakers in your home. The Echo Input also streams music from Amazon Prime Music, Saavn, Gaana, Hungama Music. It supports Dual-band WiFi (2.4/5GHz) and weights about 79 grams.

The Amazon Echo Input is sold only in Black color and available via Amazon.in, Croma, Vijay Sales, and other offline retailers at ₹2,999. In the Box, you’ll get an Echo Input, 5W Power adapter, a Micro-USB cable, 1m AUX cable, and Quick Start Guide. Amazon has also announced exciting launch offers on Bose, JBL and UE Boom.
