Alcatel announces its four latest smartphones namely Idol 5, Idol 5S, A7 and A7 XL at IFA 2017 held in Berlin. All four smartphones powered by the different MediaTek processors mated with 3GB of RAM. Also, these devices include a fingerprint scanner on the rear side.
Alcatel Idol 5
Idol 5 has a 5.2″ display protected by 2.5D Dragontrial Glass. It comes with a floating Now Key which can be positioned anywhere on the home screen to trigger the actions like start a sound recording, compose an email etc. It has a 12MP rear camera with hybrid focus and 5MP front camera with selfie flash. The camera also includes advanced photo and video functions like Video Story, Time Lapse, Live Filters, Photo Collage etc. IDOL 5 is available in Metal Silver and Metal Black for €239.99 (Approx. ₹18,200)

Idol 5S has a metal unibody design and features a fingerprint scanner at the rear side. It has a 5.2″ Full HD display and comes with powerful front-facing dual 3.6W speakers. This device also has dedicated Now Key that is placed on the ride and side lets you trigger an action or access to the app such as start the camera app, call a contact etc. It also comes bundled with JBL headset for better audio experience. Alcatel A7 XL
A7 XL is a dual camera smartphone boasts a metal design and equipped with 6-inch full HD display with 2.5D glass on top. The dual camera setup consists of a 12MP autofocus camera and a 2MP full frame camera with dual LED flash. At the front, it has a 5MP camera with selfies flash. Similar to A7, it also comes with 4000mAh battery that charges the device from 0 to 50% in 40 minutes.
